Embarking on a Tabletop Adventure
As we step into this new year, I hope you’ve all had a fantastic start, filled with positivity and excitement. I’m thrilled to share a unique journey I’ve embarked on with my children, one that combines the fun of tabletop gaming with the practical learning of mathematics.
To kick off this adventure, I’ve introduced two enchanting forest-themed characters:
- Redleaf: A character with a maple tree lineage, known for his strength and strategic movement. Check him out here.
- Oaklen: A character aspiring to be a Mighty Oak, perfect for surprise tactics. Discover more about Oaklen here.
But that’s just the beginning! In the coming days, keep an eye out for new releases including board pieces, hero characters, and formidable boss characters. We plan to bring you fresh and exciting pieces every week throughout the year.
Creativity Unleashed
These characters are designed to spark creativity. Feel free to paint them or print them in various filament colours based on your preference. Plus, if you need them 3D printed, they’ll be available in our shop.
Gameplay and Rules Unveiled
By the end of this weekend or early next week, I aim to have all the game rules and gameplay mechanics laid out clearly for everyone to understand and enjoy.

Leaving their winter dens, and basements, the Maritime geek seeks out locations rich in their favorite fandom to nourish their soul. Many can be observed migrating to the rich feeding grounds that is the Spring Geequinox.
It is here, they find nourishment and socialization in the form of: cosplay, a wide array of tabletop and video gaming, workshops, live shows, and over 80 vendors of geek centric goods and services. For the next 2 days, the geek gorges itself on their most favored activities, happy and sated, ready to begin their year anew.”

Geeks versus Nerds
Geequinox is a two-day event held at the Halifax Forum (in the multi-purpose center) focused on gaming, cosplay, comics, and art. There will be cosplay guests and performances, artist and guest panels, Geeks vs Nerds, gaming, as well as vendors selling a variety of comics, board games, art and other merchandise.
